week was 0.36 inches, which is 0.56 inches below the average June week. CMMCP Mosquito Summary- Our
collections of Ae. vexans
show a 6-fold increase in number from our last trap week. The majority of Ae. vexans
were found at our Hopkinton (Fruit St.), Marlborough, and Northbridge trap sites. Our collections of Cq. perturbans show a 21-fold increase from our last trap week.
The majority of Cq. perturbans were
found at our Hopkinton (Fruit St.) and Marlborough trap sites. Our collections of Cs. melanura show a .33-fold increase in number from our last
trap week. The majority of Cs. melanura were found at our
Hopkinton (Fruit St.), Marlborough, and Tewksbury trap sites. Our collections of Oc. canadensis show an 8.5-fold increase in number from our last
trap week. The majority of Oc. canadensis were found at our
Billerica and Marlborough trap sites, which is the same as last week. Our collections of Culex show an 8-fold increase from our last trap week. The majority of Culex mosquitoes were found at our Westborough (Walk-up Dr.),
Clinton and Northbridge trap sites.
