Weather Summary (Northborough, MA): This mosquito season was much drier than the previous season. Statewide monthly rainfall averages were as
follows: May-2.78” (CMMCP/Northborough 2.42”); June-3.54”
(CMMCP/Northborough 3.89”); July-2.75” (CMMCP/Northborough
1.48”); August-4.25” (CMMCP/Northborough 2.50”);
September-2.11” (CMMCP/Northborough 1.77”). For the year we
received 26% more requests than average; 9,777 requests to date compared to
the 7 year average of 7,758. Requests were 30% less than the 2009 totals;
9,777 in 2010 against 12,762 in 2009.

Weather Summary (Northborough, MA): The weather for this particular week averaged 64.1°F with a recorded
high temperature of 81.6°F and a recorded low temperature of only
44.4°F. For this week there was a
total of 2.36 inches of rain observed.
Compared to the previous week, it was approximately 2.6°F cooler on
average, and rained 2.35 inches more.
There has been 1.66 inches of rain accumulated in October. September finished with 1.47 inches of rain
in the CMMCP area, while August, July and June finished with 2.50, 1.48 and
3.89 inches respectively. Standard spray operations have ceased due to low
service requests and predominant weather patterns. Vector control will be
available if needed according to weather conditions and other factors. For
the year we have received 26% more requests than average; 9,777 requests to
date compared to the 7 year average of 7,758. Requests were 30% less than the
2009 totals; 9,777 in 2010 against 12,762 in 2009.

Weather Summary (Northborough, MA): The weather for this particular week averaged 61.04°F with a recorded
high temperature of 80.9°F and a recorded low temperature of only
45.2°F. For this week there was also a
total of 2.11 inches of rain observed.
Compared to the previous week, it was approximately 10.17°F cooler on
average, and rained about 1 inch more.
The total rainfall for the month of May was 2.42 inches. Requests for
spraying totaled 729 this week, 11% below the 7 year average of 811 for EPI

CMMCP District information – the 39 cities and towns in the
