Mosquitoes with West Nile Virus were confirmed again on Sept. 1 in a surveillance trap set by CMMCP in the northern part of town near the Worcester city line in the Heard Street area.

After consultation with the Auburn Board of Health the area below will be sprayed the evening of Sept. 7, 2010 from 8pm to midnight.

Mosquitoes with West Nile Virus were confirmed August 11 in two surveillance traps set by CMMCP in the northern part of town near the Worcester city line in the Heard Street area and the Springbrook Road area.

CMMCP catch basin maps were checked and basins were retreated in the area. The areas below were sprayed on August 17 after consultation with the Auburn Board of Health.

Additional surveillance traps have been set in the area to gauge population densities and for additional virus testing if possible.
