Mosquitoes with
West Nile Virus were confirmed August 14 in a surveillance trap set by CMMCP.
The town confirmed
that the catch basins in the area have been treated. Spraying has been
performed twice in the affected area after consultation with the Board of
Health. See the map below of the sprayed areas on 14-Aug-09. These same areas
were sprayed again on 20-Aug-09.
Additional
surveillance traps have been set in the area to gauge population densities
and for additional virus testing if possible.
