Mosquitoes with
West Nile Virus were confirmed August 14 in a surveillance trap set by CMMCP.
CMMCP catch
basin maps were checked and additional basins were treated. Spraying was
performed once in the affected area on August 24 after consultation with the
Board of Health. See the map below of the sprayed areas on 24-Aug-09.
Additional
surveillance traps have been set in the area to gauge population densities
and for additional virus testing if possible.
