CMMCP Wetland Restoration Program:

Town of Shrewsbury, Job #756 Lupine Circle

Degraded pond with overgrown vegetation and water quality issues. Residents of this area are concerned about water quality issues and the potential for mosquito breeding.

Pond has been dredged.  Overgrown vegetation is removed and water quality has visible improved.

Silt fence is used for soil erosion control on the banks.  After 4 weeks, grass is already growing to re-stabilize the bank. The silt fence will be removed once the Streambank has stabilized.
