VectoLex®
(Bacillus sphaericus)
VectoLex is a
biological mosquito larvicide that offers efficacious, persistent control of
mosquitoes in tough environmental conditions such as sewage basins, abandoned
swimming pools, and any area with a high organic content. VectoLex is
particularly effective against Culex
species and many species of Aedes, Anopheles, and Psorophora.
The active
ingredient is VectoLex is the naturally occurring spore-forming bacteria, Bacillus sphaericus. VectoLex WSP (Water Soluble Packets) are used in abandoned swimming pools and other areas with
high organic content.
