Mr. Richard Day, MSHS, RS/CHO

Mr. Day is the current Chair of the CMMCP Commission, and has been a member since 1987. Mr. Day was the the Director of the Chelmsford Board of Health from 1980-2019. He earned a Master of Science/Health Science from Northeastern University. He is a Registered Sanitarian and a Certified Health Officer, and holds other certifications such as Profession Food Manager, Pool Operator and Code Enforcement/Lead Determination Inspector.  Mr. Day recently served as President of the Mass. Health Officers Association (MHOA), and has coordinated the aerial application of larval mosquito control products in Chelmsford since the early 1980’s.
