BOSTON — The Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources (MDAR) will conduct aerial spraying in specific areas of Worcester and Middlesex Counties.
The list of communities entirely within the spray zone (except for exclusions):
- Middlesex County: Hopkinton, Marlborough
- Worcester County: Douglas, Grafton, Millville, Northbridge, Southborough, Sutton, Upton, Uxbridge, Webster, Westborough
Communities partially in the spray zone:
- Middlesex County: Ashland, Framingham, Holliston, Sudbury
- Worcester County: Berlin, Blackstone, Dudley, Hopedale, Mendon, Milford, Millbury, Northborough, Oxford, Shrewsbury, Worcester
Aerial mosquito spraying operations in areas of Middlesex and Worcester Counties did not take place as planned Sunday evening, August 25 due to cold temperatures. Aerial spraying operations are scheduled to resume on the evening of Monday, August 26 and to continue for several evenings. The ability to spray is weather-dependent and the schedule may change.
