Sherborn Vector Spray Event August 29 2019
Sherborn 2019: updated Aug. 30, 2019 8:51am
Mosquitoes with Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE) were confirmed August 28 by MDPH in the southwestern part of town. Working with the Sherborn Board of Health, truck-mounted Ultra-Low Volume (ULV) spraying was done in the area below on August 29 after sunset.
It’s important to note that spraying can reduce but not eliminate the threat of mosquito-borne illness in the areas that are sprayed. That’s why it’s important for individuals to continue to take personal precautions against mosquito bites, both before and after any spraying is conducted.
