Typical Mosquito Habitats
Larval mosquito habitats are monitored throughout the season from March through September on a rotational basis in each member city and town. Larval habitat are dependent by species, and mosquitoes have evolved to develop in a wide variety of stagnant water areas.
The threshold for a larval control application is a minimum average of 1+ per 5 dips.
