Restoration Guidelines
A history of the ditch and any past maintenance work should be gathered from one or more of the sources listed. Any history of change in use of the area should be noted (i.e. from agricultural to residential).
- Physical evidence- such as spoil deposits, soil profile, tree stumps, structures, etc.
- Historical evidence such as municipal, state or mosquito control records or maps.
- Recollection of residents, abutters, town officials, etc.
