Ayer Vector Spray Event September 14, 2023

Mosquitoes with West Nile Virus (WNV) were confirmed Sept. 12 by MDPH in the western side of Ayer near the Littleton and Groton town lines. Working with the Nashoba Associated Boards of of Health, truck-mounted Ultra-Low Volume (ULV) spraying is scheduled in the area below on Sept. 14 after sunset.  

It’s important to note that spraying can reduce but not eliminate the threat of mosquito-borne illness in the areas that are sprayed. That’s why it’s important for individuals to continue to take personal precautions against mosquito bites, both before and after any spraying is conducted.
