Boylston Vector Spray Event September 17 2021 | Central Mass Mosquito Control Project

Boylston 2021: updated Sept. 16, 2021 6:41am

Mosquitoes with West Nile Virus (WNV) were confirmed September 15 by MDPH in the southern part of town. Working with the Boylston Board of Health, truck-mounted Ultra-Low Volume (ULV) spraying is scheduled in the area below on September 17 after sunset.

It’s important to note that spraying can reduce but not eliminate the threat of mosquito-borne illness in the areas that are sprayed. That’s why it’s important for individuals to continue to take personal precautions against mosquito bites, both before and after any spraying is conducted.
