Marlboro Vector Spray Event September 22 2021
Marlboro 2021: updated Sept. 23, 2021 6:32am
Mosquitoes with West Nile Virus (WNV) were confirmed September 22 by MDPH in the eastern part of Marlboro. Working with the Marlboro Board of Health, truck-mounted Ultra-Low Volume (ULV) spraying was done in the area below on September 22 after sunset.
It’s important to note that spraying can reduce but not eliminate the threat of mosquito-borne illness in the areas that are sprayed. That’s why it’s important for individuals to continue to take personal precautions against mosquito bites, both before and after any spraying is conducted.
