Millbury Vector Spray Event August 15 2022

Mosquitoes with West Nile Virus were confirmed August 10 in a surveillance trap in the north/central part of town. Working with the Millbury Town Manager's office, truck-mounted Ultra-Low Volume (ULV) spraying was done in the area below on August 15 after sunset.
It’s important to note that spraying can only reduce but not eliminate the threat of mosquito-borne illness in the areas that are sprayed. That’s why it’s important for individuals to continue to take personal precautions against mosquito bites — both before and after any spraying is conducted.
