Natick Vector Spray Event September 1 2022

Natick 2022: updated Sept. 2, 2022 7:15am

Mosquitoes with West Nile Virus were confirmed August 31 in a surveillance trap in the Hardwick Road part of town. Working with the Natick Board of Health, truck-mounted Ultra-Low Volume (ULV) spraying was done in the area below on September 1 after sunset.

It’s important to note that spraying can only reduce but not eliminate the threat of mosquito-borne illness in the areas that are sprayed. That’s why it’s important for individuals to continue to take personal precautions against mosquito bites — both before and after any spraying is conducted.
